NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT
INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.
THIS IS A SKILL-BASED CONTEST. Entries are judged on merit by a panel of judges. Winning is not determined by
chance. Odds of winning depend on the number and quality of eligible entries received.

This Contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Meta Platforms, Inc., or any
of their affiliates. By entering, you release Instagram and Meta Platforms, Inc., and their respective officers, directors,
employees, and agents, from any and all liability arising out of or related to this Contest. Information you submit in
connection with this Contest is provided to Sponsor, not to Instagram or Meta. Any questions, comments, or
complaints regarding the Contest must be directed to Sponsor, not to Instagram or Meta.
- ELIGIBILITY
The Contest is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are
eighteen (18) years of age or older — or the age of majority in their state of residence, if older — as of the date of
entry.
Entries from outside the fifty United States and the District of Columbia are not eligible and will be disqualified. This
includes Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa, the Northern Mariana Islands, and all other
U.S. territories and possessions.
Employees, officers, directors, and contractors of Sponsor and its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, retail
partners, advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling, and
their respective spouses) and household members of each are not eligible to enter or win.
Void where prohibited or restricted by law. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.
- ENTRY PERIOD
The Contest begins at 12:00:01 a.m. Pacific Time on September 21, 2026 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. Pacific Time on
October 31, 2026 (the “Entry Period”). Sponsor’s computer is the official time-keeping device for the Contest.
- HOW TO ENTER
To enter, during the Entry Period you must complete both steps:
- Post publicly on Instagram. Post an original photograph of a dish you created to your public Instagram account,
tag @bettrbowl in the post, and include the hashtags #BettrBowlChallenge and #contest. Your Instagram
account must be set to public at the time of posting and must remain public through the end of the Entry Period so
that Sponsor can verify the entry.
- Send the recipe. Send Sponsor a direct message on Instagram to @bettrbowl containing the complete recipe for
the dish shown in your photograph, including the full ingredient list with quantities and complete preparation
instructions.
An entry is not complete, and will not be judged, unless both steps are completed during the Entry Period. Recipes
submitted by direct message will not be published by Sponsor during the Entry Period.
Required disclosure. Because entrants are asked to tag and promote the Bettr Bowl brand as a condition of
entering, each entry post must clearly disclose that it is a contest entry. Including #contest as required above
satisfies this requirement. An entry that omits the disclosure is not a complete entry and will not be judged.
Entrants must have a valid Instagram account and comply with Instagram’s Terms of Use. Creating multiple
Instagram accounts to submit additional entries will result in disqualification of all entries associated with that
entrant.
Entry limit: three (3) entries per person, each of which must be a different recipe.
There is no cost to enter. Standard data rates from your mobile carrier or internet provider may apply.
- ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Each entry must:
• Be your own original work, created by you;
• Consist of a photograph you personally took and a recipe you personally developed;
• Be suitable for a general audience and free of profanity, nudity, sexually explicit content, violence, hate speech, or
content that disparages any person, group, or business;
• Not contain any third party’s name, likeness, logo, trademark, or copyrighted material without that party’s written
permission;
• Not have been copied, in whole or substantial part, from any cookbook, website, publication, restaurant, employer,
or other source;
• Not have been submitted in any other contest or promotion, and not be subject to any confidentiality obligation,
employment agreement, or other restriction that would prevent Sponsor from using it.
Sponsor may disqualify any entry, in its sole discretion, that it believes does not meet these requirements or that has
been submitted in a fraudulent or deceptive manner, including through the use of bots, purchased engagement, or
duplicate accounts.
- JUDGING
All eligible entries will be judged by Chef Diego Silva and a panel of judges designated by Sponsor, who may recreate
and taste-test entries as part of the evaluation.
Criteria and weighting. Each judge will score each eligible entry on a scale of one (1) to ten (10) on each of the
following four criteria. For each criterion, the judges’ individual scores are averaged, and the four averaged scores are
then weighted as follows to produce the entry’s total score:
• Flavor — 25% — taste, balance, and overall eating experience
• Originality — 25% — creativity and distinctiveness of the concept
• Commercial viability — 25% — suitability for production at scale and at a retail price point
• Brand fit — 25% — alignment with the Bettr Bowl product line and brand
The entry receiving the highest total score will be declared the winner.
Tie-breakers. In the event of a tie, the tied entries will be re-scored by the judges on the Flavor criterion alone, and
the highest score on that criterion will determine the winner. If a tie remains, the tied entries will be re-scored on the
Originality criterion. If a tie still remains after both re-scorings, the winner will be selected from among the tied
entries by the presiding judge.
Judging decisions are final and binding to the fullest extent permitted by law.
- PRIZE
One (1) winner will receive: a gift card in the amount of three thousand United States dollars (US $3,000.00) to a
supermarket retailer that carries Bettr Bowl products, selected by the winner from among Whole Foods Market,
Target, Kroger, Sprouts Farmers Market, or another retailer carrying Bettr Bowl products as approved by Sponsor.
Approximate Retail Value (ARV): US $3,000.00. Total ARV of all prizes: US $3,000.00.
The prize consists solely of the gift card described above. No other prize, product, merchandise, shipment, or cash is
included.
The gift card is subject to the terms, conditions, and expiration policies of the issuing retailer. Sponsor is not
responsible for a gift card that is lost, stolen, or unredeemable after delivery, and is not responsible for any act or
omission of the issuing retailer.
The prize is non-transferable, and no substitution or cash equivalent is permitted, except that (a) Sponsor reserves the
right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable, and (b) Sponsor will
provide a cash equivalent where required by applicable state law and requested by the winner.
Taxes. All federal, state, and local taxes on the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. The winner will be
required to provide Sponsor with a completed and signed IRS Form W-9 before the prize is released. Sponsor will
issue the winner an IRS Form 1099 reporting the value of the prize.
- WINNER NOTIFICATION
The potential winner will be notified by Instagram direct message to the account used to enter, within approximately
fourteen (14) days after the end of the Entry Period.
Sponsor will make at least two (2) contact attempts over a period of at least five (5) days. The potential winner must
respond within five (5) days of the date the first notification is sent. If the potential winner does not respond within
that period, cannot be reached after the required attempts, declines the prize, is found to be ineligible, or fails to
return the required documents within the time specified, the prize may be forfeited and awarded to the entrant with
the next-highest total score.
Before the prize is released, the potential winner must execute and return a signed IRS Form W-9 and the Affidavit of
Eligibility, Liability Release, and Publicity Release provided by Sponsor, within five (5) days of receipt.
- GRANT OF RIGHTS IN ENTRIES
By submitting an entry, you grant Sponsor a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, fully paid-up, nonexclusive, transferable, sublicensable right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create
derivative works from, distribute, publicly display, and otherwise exploit your entry — including the recipe and the
photograph — in any medium now known or later developed, for any purpose, including advertising, marketing,
packaging, product development, and the commercial manufacture and sale of food products, without further notice,
review, approval, compensation, or credit to you.
This license applies to all entries, whether or not they are selected as the winning entry.
Because the license granted is non-exclusive, you retain ownership of your recipe and photograph and remain free to
use, publish, and license them yourself.
Rights relating to your name, Instagram handle, and likeness are addressed separately in Section 11 (Publicity).
If your entry is selected as the winning entry, you agree to execute any additional documents Sponsor reasonably
requests to confirm the rights granted in this Section.
Sponsor is not obligated to use any entry. Sponsor’s product development pipeline and retail programs are subject to
change, and a winning recipe may be considered for inclusion in a 2027 Bettr Bowl product line or on product
packaging. Sponsor makes no promise or guarantee that any recipe will be produced, sold, featured on packaging, or
accepted by any retailer.
- REPRESENTATIONS, WARRANTIES, AND INDEMNIFICATION
By entering, you represent and warrant that:
• Your entry is your own original work and you own or control all rights in it;
• Your entry does not infringe, misappropriate, or violate any copyright, trademark, trade secret, right of privacy,
right of publicity, or other right of any third party;
• You have obtained the written consent of every identifiable individual appearing in your photograph, and, if any
such person is a minor, the written consent of that person’s parent or legal guardian;
• Your entry is not subject to any confidentiality agreement, non-disclosure agreement, employment agreement, or
other restriction that would limit Sponsor’s use of it;
• Sponsor’s use of your entry as permitted by these Official Rules will not require any payment to, or consent from,
any third party.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sponsor and its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, retail partners, and
their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, demands, damages,
losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses — including reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs of defense — arising out of or
relating to your entry or your breach of any representation or warranty in these Official Rules.
- PUBLICITY
Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of the prize constitutes the winner’s consent to Sponsor’s use of the
winner’s name, Instagram handle, city and state of residence, photograph, likeness, voice, statements about the
Contest, and entry for advertising, promotional, and publicity purposes in any medium, worldwide, in perpetuity,
without further notice, compensation, or approval.
Where applicable state law requires a separate written consent for the use of a person’s name, likeness, or other
attributes of identity, Sponsor will obtain that consent through the signed Publicity Release included in the Affidavit
described in Section 8, and the winner’s obligations under this Section are limited accordingly.
- PRIVACY
Information collected from entrants is subject to Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, available at bettrbowl.com/privacy.
Sponsor collects the following from entrants: Instagram handle, the content of your entry post and direct message,
and any contact information you provide. From the winner, Sponsor additionally collects legal name, mailing address,
and taxpayer identification number for tax-reporting purposes.
Sponsor uses this information to administer the Contest, award the prize, meet tax-reporting obligations, and — where
you have separately agreed — for marketing communications.
Notice to California residents. Sponsor does not sell personal information. Sponsor may share personal information
for cross-context behavioral advertising as that term is defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act as
amended by the California Privacy Rights Act. California residents have the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out
of the sharing of their personal information, and the right to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal
information. Requests may be submitted using the contact information provided in Sponsor’s Privacy Policy.
- RELEASE AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
By entering, you release and agree to hold harmless Sponsor and its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, retail partners,
advertising and promotion agencies, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents (the “Released
Parties”) from any and all liability, injury, loss, or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the Contest,
participation in the Contest, or acceptance, receipt, possession, use, or misuse of the prize.
The Released Parties are not responsible for: lost, late, incomplete, misdirected, or undeliverable entries or
notifications; technical failures of any kind, including failures of Instagram or of any network, hardware, or software;
unauthorized human intervention; printing or typographical errors in any Contest materials; or any error in the
administration of the Contest or the processing of entries.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for certain damages, so the above
may not apply to you in full.
- GENERAL CONDITIONS
Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, suspend, or cancel the Contest, or any part of it, at any
time, including if fraud, technical failure, or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the
integrity or proper functioning of the Contest. If the Contest is cancelled, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, award
the prize from among the eligible entries received before the cancellation.
Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual it determines, in its sole discretion, to be tampering with the
entry process or the operation of the Contest, acting in violation of these Official Rules, or acting in a disruptive or
unsportsmanlike manner.
Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest may be a violation of
criminal and civil law, and Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies to the fullest extent
permitted by law.
These Official Rules constitute the entire agreement between entrants and Sponsor with respect to the Contest. If any
provision is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be severed and the remaining provisions will remain in
full force and effect.
- DISPUTES AND GOVERNING LAW
Except where prohibited, by entering you agree that: (a) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out
of or connected with this Contest or the prize will be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action;
(b) any and all claims, judgments, and awards will be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs
associated with entering, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (c) under no circumstances will any entrant be permitted
to obtain any award for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, consequential, or any other
damages other than actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise
increased.
The waivers in this Section apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law, and nothing in these Official Rules
limits any right that cannot be waived under the law of your state of residence.
All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules,
or the rights and obligations of entrants and Sponsor, will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws
of the State of Nevada, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. The state and federal courts located in Clark
County, Nevada will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising under these Official Rules, and entrants
consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts. Nothing in this Section deprives any entrant of the
protection of any non-waivable consumer-protection provision of the law of the entrant’s state of residence.

For the name of the winner, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: Bettr Bowl Challenge Winner List, Avatar
Foods Inc., 1301 S. Boulder Hwy., Henderson, NV 89015, to be received no later than January 29, 2027.
- NO PURCHASE NECESSARY; RULES AVAILABILITY
No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not increase your chances of
winning. Entry is free.
These Official Rules are available at bettrbowl.com/challenge-rules for the duration of the Entry Period and for
ninety (90) days thereafter, and are also available by written request to Sponsor at the address listed in Section 1.
